Riding Your E-Bike in Snow Canyon
Snow Canyon State Park is a spectacular place to explore on two wheels. To ensure a safe ride and protect the park’s fragile ecosystem, please follow these access guidelines:
Where You CAN Ride: E-bikes are permitted on all paved public roads and the Whiptail Trail (paved). Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes are also permitted on West Canyon Road (a wide, maintained gravel/dirt path).
Where You CANNOT Ride: E-bikes are strictly prohibited on all single-track hiking trails and off-trail areas.
Yielding: The paved paths are shared with hikers, joggers, and traditional cyclists. Please maintain a safe speed (15 mph max recommended) and always yield to pedestrians.
Parking: When you reach a trailhead, please use the provided bike racks. Always lock your e-bike (lock included with your rental) before heading off on a hike.

E-Bike Accessible Trails
Class 1 e-bikes (pedal-assist, no throttle, max 20 mph) are allowed on these, as they align with park rules for traditional bike areas. Includes paved, gravel, and multi-use singletrack. Class 2/3 e-bikes may be restricted to roads.

Accessible Trails
These have paved or firm surfaces suitable for wheelchairs, strollers, or mobility aids (manual/power chairs may need assistance on grades). Limited due to desert terrain.

While these are “hiking only” trails, the trailheads are easily accessible by eBike and eliminate the hassle of finding a parking space. As a precaution, we recommend using one of our provided bike locks to secure your eBike while you are hiking on any trails.
